We have the opportunity for the right candidate to join a growing service and maintenance venture within a long established air conditioning installation company. We are looking for a new applicant to join what is an enthusiastic and motivated team responsible for growing this department, and the candidate must have the same enthusiasm.

The role is based in our Maidstone office and is a full-time position (subject to satisfactory completion of 6 months initial probationary period), with some on-call duties being necessary.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be required to work under the direction of our Administration Manager dealing with our nationwide portfolio of customers to provide administrative support as required by the day to day ever changing workload.

The following duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Processing and actioning requests from new customers requiring our assistance.
  • Scheduling and administering our commitments to our planned maintenance customers.
  • Maintaining records and paperwork from project inception to completion.
  • Maintaining computerised records.
  • Dealing with customers both new and existing by telephone, email and formal written correspondence.
  • Organising and deploying the engineering staff.
  • Providing back office support to the engineering staff.
  • General office duties-welcoming visitors, arranging meetings for example.

Included in the responsibility of the department will be organising and administering the commissioning, and warranty requirements of our installation projects, this will be a key duty.

Requirements

Good GCSE grades in Maths & English are required. Common sense, attention to detail and a pro-active attitude are essential.

Preferred Skills

Some Sage experience is preferred, plus previous experience of working within a maintenance company environment. Previous experience of using Joblogic software would be useful. A pleasant manner when dealing with customers is essential. Must be able to react quickly and handle pressurised situations.

Assistant /Trainee mobile air conditioning installation engineer

We have the opportunity for the right candidate to join our continually growing installation team within a long established air conditioning installation company with ISO9001 accreditation. We are looking for a new applicant to join what is an enthusiastic and motivated team, and the candidate must have the same enthusiasm.

This full-time position (subject to satisfactory completion of 6 months initial probationary period) involves executing various installation tasks on our client’s project / construction sites located throughout the south of England. The roles involves travelling to our various sites usually in our company vehicles. The management of the installation teams is from our Maidstone office. There are opportunities to enter an apprentice training scheme for candidates who possess suitable attributes and display the qualities required to progress the role to a qualified position.

We offer a competitive pay structure along with 20 days paid holiday per year, all bank holidays and Christmas holiday period paid. Company pension scheme after three months service.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be required to work under the direction / supervision of one of our senior installation engineers, providing high specification installations of DX air conditioning systems. Due to the travelling involved with the role it is necessary for the day to start early.

The following duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Working under health and safety rules and regulations
  • Attending mandatory training courses.
  • Take instruction from other team members.
  • Offloading and manual handling of materials and equipment.
  • Mechanical installations of comfort cooling / air conditioning systems.
  • Mechanical installation of support bracketry.
  • Electrical cable installations.
  • Tidying work areas and maintaining a safe site environment.

Requirements
