If our checks indicate that unfortunately a credit account can’t be offered at this time, we may ask for a proforma (up-front) payment before any works are started.

This is rare but can happen, for example, with a customer who is a new Limited Company with no credit history for us to base a decision on.

In these circumstances, and only after all avenues have been explored, we will always politely explain why credit can’t be offered, and make sure our customer understands when payments are required for the project to go ahead and be completed on schedule.
