Coolair was first founded in 1980. Since then, we have established a strong reputation for installing high quality, energy efficient commercial air conditioning equipment installations across all of the UK.
Despite our growth, Coolair has always maintained an innovative, dynamic edge. We were the first company to install a VRV system in the UK, and have continued to develop the VRV/VRF product across our projects assisting the manufacturers to develop their products.
As a company Coolair Equipment Ltd are actively promoting the use of renewable energies. We have adopted numerous cutting edge technologies; including air source heat pumps, water source heat pumps, and heat reclaim ventilation systems. These systems save energy usage during the cooling season as well as offering higher level efficiency in heating compared to a traditional heating system
Our design engineers can also advise on government grant schemes such as ECA and Carbon Trust Loans to assist with construction cost savings for all types of projects. We provide advice to many sectors including construction, social housing associations, developers, mechanical services company’s and consultants, architects and end users.

Coolair expanded our profile in the market place by becoming specialist air conditioning installer dealing directly with all the major air conditioning brands, thus offering clients the widest possible range of solutions to suit most applications and budgets.
We are also one of the few UK organisations to have been chosen to become a Mitsubishi Business Solutions Partner, Daikin D1 Member, Toshiba Additions Partner and more recently a Sanyo Approved Installer, we are extremely proud of the work we have undertaken with Mitsubishi to both formulate the business partner scheme and to become a leading Partner in this Scheme.

The company has grown steadily over the years, and currently achieves an annual turnover of £22 to £30 million.
