R22 Refrigerant Phase Out- What happens next?

The EU Ozone Regulation EC2037/2000 highlights the following key points.

Although there are no guarantees on the quality and availability of the refrigerant and we along with other industry experts are predicting stocks of recycled R22 to be depleted well before the end of 2014 which will inevitably result in a vast increase in the price of the available refrigerant.

The R22 refrigerant that you may have in your current systems although they were efficient at the time of installation, this equipment does not compare with the new air conditioning plant that operates on the new gases R410A and R407C which will be a lot more efficient to run and will money save on running costs.
